Each month we choose a new theme from the many shapes, mediums, and subjects that surround us. It’s a great chance to think outside the box and explore a new subject. You can join in on the fun by sending your creations to the DIY Craft Challenge and sharing with readers all over the world.

How does the monthly theme work?

Let the theme inspire you to try new things, share an old project, or spread some knowledge. You can stick strictly to the theme, or do something totally unexpected. We just want to see what you’re up to!

Who can submit a project?

This challenge is open to ALL AGES, so don’t be afraid to get your kids involved too.

What exactly can you submit?

Any and all materials and mediums are encouraged! We think any creativity is the right kind of creativity, so we take entries in all sorts of mediums and forms. If you can photograph it we’ll take a look; be it a painting, a woodworking project, a clever storage solution, or a piece of clothing. Let the theme work its magic. You can see some of our past roundups here.

How do you join in?

Contributing to the DIY Craft Challenge is simple. Just use the green form to send us a picture or two of your creation and a little bit about yourself. At the end of each month we’ll do a round up of the submitted projects, and share them with our readers.
