I love Valentine’s Day for three reasons: I love the color pink, chocolate is usually involved and I have an excuse to make something sweet for the people I love! This year, I decided to put my obsession for making pompoms to good use by making these adorable Pompom Love Bugs!

Supplies Needed

• Pink yarn
• Pink felt
• Pipe cleaners
• Googley eyes
• Pompom maker
• Hot glue gun
• Good, sharp scissors

Step One: Make pompoms!

Step Two: Make your love bugs!

Cut out small heart from the felt to become feet for your bug. Then use the hot glue gun to glue the felt heart to the pompom.

Next glue on the googley eyes.

Use a pencil to curl the pipe cleaners and cut them to size with scissors. Add hot glue to the end of the pipe cleaners and poke them into the pompom to create antennae. It’s as simple as that!
